were no statistically significant differences in the use of conflict resolution methods
among the respondents of the same age group, except for mediation and
reconciliation. As for the school size, the findings showed no significant differences
among these administrators, except the method of reconciliation, which was
significant at 0.05 level of significance.
4. The following suggestions are made for conflict management among the
administrators of Islamic private schools in Pattani province: 1) Personal aspect: the
administrators should lead the functional meetings, discuss about the problems, and
attempt to normalize team attitudes; 2) Interpersonal aspect: the administrators should
organize team building programs, create Islamic work values, distribute tasks properly
and fairly, and strengthen morale among staff; and 3) organizational aspect:
organizations should provide clear policies and guidelines, follow the principles of
good governance, take note of deficiencies and find the ways to rectify them, and
have good manners and clear communication.
