The results of the Tadika Cemerlang project were threefold as follows:
Cultural Calendar
The community researchers from Ban Benaepeenae and Ban Benaebadae consist of Imams,
leaders, local scholars, directors, and teachers who cooperated to make cultural calendars together. The
cultural calendars in Thai and Jawi languages show the names of months, the names of months in Patani
Malay language, Islamic ceremonies, cultural activities, and Tadika activities in Thai and Jawi languages.
Although the calendars cover the same topics, such as the names of months, Islamic ceremonies,
and Tadika activities, they differ in the details, especially concerning cultural activities. For example, Ban
Benaebadae villagers have planted bean sprouts for sale, but Ban Benaepeenae's villagers have planted
watermelons, sweet potatoes, and rice.
Moreover, the workshop developed the cultural calendar and provided cultural space in to share
local knowledge that could be lost. For example, they believe they cannot plant root crops such as potatoes
or taros on the sixth of the month.
The cultural calendars have been used to offer content for instructional materials and lesson
plans for their children.
