displaying unique building features.

The specialty of Pahang porch houses also lies in the excess beams or wooden building materials that
function as fasteners for the house frame for the purpose of adding space.
It clearly shows that the Malay community at that time was already thinking about plans to expand the
house if there were additional family members.

This is because the work of creating or adding a new space becomes easier by simply installing wooden
pegs on the excess part of the existing beam.

The existence of existing long windows in the walls also facilitates the work of carpentry when the process
of increasing the area of the residence is done.
This is because builders no longer need to bother building new paths to additional spaces.

In fact, the Pahang porch house also has a barrier (known as bendul for other traditional houses) about
