                       States and Problems of Arabic Teaching in Mosque-based Educational Center

                       (TADIKA) in Chanae  District, Narathiwas  Province

                                                          ABSTRACT
                            This research was aimed 1) to study states of Arabic Teaching, 2) to studying

                       states problems of Arabic Teaching, 3) to study development of Arabic Teaching in
                       Mosque-based  Educational  Center  (TADIKA)  in  Chanae  District,  Narathiwas

                       Province.  This  study  was  a  quality  research.  The  data  presented  by  the  descriptive
                       analysis.

                            The results found that
                            The state of teaching in Arabic language were  the most curriculums and the

                       instructional  documentations  were  FardhuAin  curriculums  of  Islamic  studies  of

                       mosque  in  2005  involving  other  curriculums,  the  most  methods  and  the  learning
                       activities  were  reading,  writing,  memorizing  and  lecturing,  the  instructional  media

                       including book and blackboard. The state of problem of Arabic teaching were  the

                       most  curriculums  and  the  instructional  documentations  were  no  unity,  the  teacher
                       didn’t  teach  following  to  the  curriculums,  the  curriculums  without  supervision,  no

                       training in curriculums, the content didn’t appropriate for the age of the students and
                       the teacher didn’t understand in curriculums, the most problem of methods and the

                       learning  activities  were  no  skill  in  language,  too  many  students,  the  teacher
                       inadequate, the teachers lack of teaching experience and knowledge in sciences, old

                       teaching styles, lack of preparation for teaching, not enough time, lack of teaching

                       activities,  the  most  problem  of  the  instructional  media  were  lack  of  instructional
                       media,  lack  of  funding  and  inexpert  in  instructional  media.  And  guidelines  for

                       development  operations  of  Arabic  teaching  should  be  trained  continuously  in  the
                       curriculums,  the  instructional  documentations,  methods,  teaching  techniques,  the

                       providing of playing media, the making of teaching Conscious, activity operations in
                       classroom, the unity of curriculums and following and monitoring by the responsible

                       authority.
