theatrical experience. All the artistic elements support the narrative and actors to carry out the story in a
creative and mesmerizing way. In Malaysian theatre, artistic elements are often used to depict the
country's culture, history, and traditions, creating a unique and immersive experience for the audience.

Craft Skill in Theatre Arts Craft Product

Craft techniques become a method for the production of art products. Craft is the result of making
products by using hands which requires a person's abilities and talents in the process of making artistic
inventions. The production of art products through a craft approach has a high and limited aesthetic value.
The limited meaning seen from the aspect of product creation that results in one number and has no
similarity with others. The production of products through craft skills also requires knowledge and
experience which can be achieved through a continuous training process until reaching expertise in the
manufacture of an art product. Crafts have various techniques and are very subjective. The success of the
quality of the craft products produced is also influenced by the accuracy and suitability of the material
selection applied in addition to the use of the correct equipment. Craft techniques for the creation of sets
and props in theatre performances are no exception in emphasizing several factors that lead to the success
of an art product that has high value as planned at the initial stage.

Craft techniques are an important aspect in the making of theatre sets and props, as well as in the
creation of artistic products in general. There are several important component breakdowns that can be
noted about craft techniques in performing arts, among them Hand Skills and Talent, Unique and Limited,
Use of Materials and Proper Equipment, Expertise and Subjectivity, High Aesthetics. Craft techniques
require high manual skills and talent in processing materials into artistic products. Craft skills can be
acquired through continuous training and experience in making art products. Art products produced
