to the community about the importance of the field of creative arts in life. The opening of IPTA or IPTS
educational institutions for the field of creative arts is still in low quantity and the number of students who
apply to continue their studies in the field of creative arts is still decreasing. Research by Hashim et al.
(2019) suggested that ‘’any ideas and creation of the technology of the special effects must have unique
distinctions both in terms of impact, design ideas, techniques, usage concepts, material usage, size and
physical build, specification and functionality as well as their ability to contribute to the amazement of the
stage.’’ The awareness of the new generation as well as the society as a whole need to be improved by
always giving emphasis, publicity, opportunities and reception for the organization of art events for the
community in an effort to empower the value of awareness in the minds of the community. Hashim (2011)
also mentions that ‘’the issue of theatre design has been discussed for decades to understand what
contributes to the process and how to operate it. In relation to this process, theoretically, the main
strategies and quintessence have been constructed in set designing processes that include description
(brief); research and investigation; formation and development of ideas; exploration; synthesis and
manufacturing; and evaluation.’’

Through the production of intellectual property copyrights and also the production of scientific
writing, at least one can contribute to one of the small efforts of publishing reading materials and
references to practitioners, production members, designers, creative arts students and also activists to
refer to the results and technical materials practiced in the design of a theatre set and props at the same
time gives an injection of awareness to the appreciation of the production of the art of craft design of sets
and props. The research on an exploration of implementation recycles item (newspaper) through craft arts
skills as to provides a special props for theatre performances in Malaysia applied qualitative methods
involving several approaches to the data collection process. The data collection methods practiced include
observation, field studies, interviews as well as the implementation of a secondary data literature review
as a potential acquisition of data collection that is brought to the research analysis process.
