Local Wisdom.
The term "local wisdom" refers to the vast cultural knowledge and principles of living that

exist within a community. This concept goes beyond specific cultures or ethnicities and forms a
national value system that promotes mutual cooperation, tolerance, and strong work ethics. This
wisdom has been passed down orally through literature like proverbs and folklore, as well as
through written manuscripts. (Ramadan, 2018). The transmission of cultural heritage has become
increasingly reliant on effective communication. In order to connect the dots and ensure the
preservation of traditions, it is essential to recognize the importance of communication as a key
               component in this process.
The clash between local and external cultures is a growing concern due to the swift
changes brought about by globalization and digital advancements (Suwandi Sumartias et al.,
2020). The preservation of cultural traditions for future generations is contingent upon effective

communication within local communities. This is a crucial aspect that requires attention from
academics and policymakers alike. By understanding the importance of cultural heritage, it should
begin to develop strategies that promote the transmission of these traditions from one
generation to the next. Such efforts would not only ensure the survival of cultural practices but
also promote diversity and understanding within our societies. Therefore, it is imperative that we
prioritize effective communication within local communities as a means of safeguarding our
               cultural heritage.
Local wisdom is a multifaceted concept encompassing tangible and intangible elements
(Suwandi Sumartias et al., 2020). This understanding is particularly relevant in the field of

anthropology, where scholars seek to explore the cultural practices and beliefs that shape
communities and their social identities. The tangible aspects of local wisdom refer to physical
artifacts, such as architecture, tools, and crafts, that embody the knowledge and skills of a
particular group. Meanwhile, intangible aspects include oral traditions, stories, and customs that
are passed down through generations and contribute to the collective identity and worldview of
a community. By studying local wisdom, researchers can gain insight into the complex ways in
which culture and society intersect, and better understand the diverse range of human
               experiences across the globe.

               Local Communication Wisdom

Local communication wisdom is deeply connected to the concept of locality. According to
the Oxford Dictionary, locality refers to the place or area where one lives or is discussing. Local
identity is shaped by the community's locality and is relevant to a particular area.
Local communication wisdom involves the complex process of conveying the meaning of local
wisdom through communication. It is a tool for disseminating culture and values through the
communication process. This process is deeply rooted in the culture of the community and is an
important aspect of preserving and passing down local traditions.
