                                                         ABSTRACT

                       This abstract provides a brief overview of the popularity of DidikTV as an instructional television
               channel in Malaysia.  DidikTV was launched by the Ministry of Education in response to the COVID-19
               pandemic,  aiming  to  provide  educational  content  to  students  during  a  period  of  limited  in-person
               schooling.  The research primarily uses a qualitative approach, where the researcher collects some data
               to analyze the popularity of instructional television in Malaysia. The study focuses on the popularity of
               DidikTV as an instructional television channel.  The paper also concludes by emphasizing the importance
               of understanding the popularity and effectiveness of instructional television channels like DidikTV, as they
               play a vital role in supporting education during times of crisis or limited access to traditional schooling.  It
               is  hoped  that  this  study  will  make  people  aware  that  DidikTV  television  enjoys  great  success  among
               Malaysian society as an educational program.
