The concept of space traditional Malay house regarding Juan (1987). The space concept moulded
by three main matters such as culture, values, and lifestyle of the Malays. The space creation creates from
the low priority for privacy but concern the intimacy between community, the seasonal needs of feasting
and other cultural activities, they lack the ostentatious living and deep understanding of terminal comfort
requirement that led to open flexible interior spaces. The space concept indicates such as progress and
process that involve kind of spiritual dimension such as birth, life and death. These three parcels of level
divide into private and semi-private space that usually known as serambi, rumah ibu, kelek anak, and
dapur. The space shape is linear and invite in and out flow which explained certain meaning and belief.
The space coordinate by certain level to differentiate the area however the flexibility of space can turn to
other purpose base changing of time. We can see the idea of space is likely not for long term all are
temporary (Refer Table 5)
