ABSTRACT
Thailand’s Deep South is composed of diverse cultural groups, including three main cultural
groups: Malay, Thai, and Chinese. Intercultural education is an effective educational approach to enhance
learning and coexistence skills by creating an environment for interaction between people with different
backgrounds that aligns with the context of students in the area.
The objective of this research is to study and develop the intercultural education (ICE) innovative
materials. The research uses a research and development process and emphasizes practical involvement
of school directors, teachers, academic advisors, parents, communities, and students.
The result of this research is two intercultural education (ICE) innovative materials, which are an
intercultural education scene and a set of flashcards in three languages. Additionally, a guidebook for
