Hal ini demikian kerana, daya tahan merupakan indikator dalam menentukan kelangsungan pelaksanaan
               pertanian bandar yang melibatkan kepelbagaian jenis, saiz dan skala tapak pertanian bandar serta kategori
               komuniti sama ada golongan berpendapatan rendah, sederhana atau tinggi. Oleh itu, cadangan kajian
               lanjutan dari aspek teori daya tahan perlu diberi penekanan dalam pertanian bandar yang turut memberi
               tumpuan  terhadap  kearifan  tempatan  berdasarkan  keupayaan  setiap  tapak  dan  komuniti  pertanian
               bandar. Gabungan kajian antara kearifan tempatan dan daya tahan mempunyai potensi kajian yang lebih
               menyeluruh dalam mencapai alih fungsi tradisi pertanian bandar sebagai wadah kesejahteraan komuniti
               yang tidak hanya tertumpu pada penyediaan sumber bekalan makanan tempatan.
