                      Problems and Guidelines for development of Academic Affairs Management in Islamic Private

                                                          ABSTRACT


                                    This research aimed to examine the problems and compare the perceived for

                      Academic Affairs Management in Islamic Private Schools under the Jurisdiction of the Office of
                      Private Education, Pattani Province based on age, educational qualifications, working experiences

                      and  school  size  are  different  and  to  propose  guidelines  for  developing  academic  affairs

                      administration  in  Islamic  Private  Schools  under  the  Jurisdiction  of  the  Office  of  Private

                      Education, Pattani Province. The samples of the study include 390 teachers in Islamic Private
                      Schools  under  the  Jurisdiction  of  the  Office  of  Private  Education,  Pattani  Province.  And  9

                      interviewees.  The  Questionnaire  and  interview  are  also  used  in  the  research  to  collect  the

                      materials.  The  findings  of  this  study  are  as  follows:  1.  Problems  of  Academic  Affairs
                      Management in Islamic Private Schools, for the overall was in “much” level. Considering each

                      section, it was found that curriculum, assessment and evaluation at highest overage value aspect

                      followed by leaning process and media technology teaching at middle overage value. 2. The

                      comparison of different levels as Problems of Academic Affairs Management in Islamic Private
                      Schools, for four variables based on age , educational qualifications, working experiences and

                      school  size  are  different  found  that:  As  an  overall,  was  not  different,  except  educational

                      qualifications and working experiences was different. Significantly different at the level of .05.
                      And  3.  The  proposed  guidelines  for  the  development  of  the  academic  affairs  administration

                      include  on  4  aspects;  aspects  on  curriculum,  aspects  on  leaning  process,  aspects  on  media

                      technology teaching, and aspects on assessment and evaluation.
