Sedimentation of T1R1 ink formulation

Figure 2 depicts the word “Test” written using the T1R1 formulation. The ink appeared dark black but
under close observation of a magnifier glass the colour seemed to be in between dark brown to black.
Besides, the existence of brownish stain surrounding the letters is obvious. This could probably due the
excess amount of virgin coconut oil. In term of its flowability, the freshly prepared ink did not flow well,
however, upon storage for two months, the ink flowability improved markedly. This observation supported
the earlier conjecture that the ink formulation requires stabilization time. As for the drying test, the T1R1
sample took approximately 30 minutes to dry. While, Figure 3 illustrates the visual images of the test
conducted.
