in classic Malay stories until the advent of Islam. Nature is a significant reference in the creation of Malay
art motifs, reflecting the harmonious relationship between Malay life and the natural environment. This
is also evidently demonstrated by the motif in the Terengganu Malay songket whose symbolism denotes
a close connection to the way of life and culture of Malays. With regard to values, norms, worldviews,
belief, and philosophy, Terengganu Malay Songket weaving contains specific abstract motifs that speak
to the core of the entire Malay culture. Mountain, water ropes, tree, butterflies, bamboo shoots,
peacock and various others (Arba’iyah, 2018).

In addition to that, in a recent academic study, Wahyuni Masyidah,M. I. (2023) utilised motion
capture technology to explore the connection between aesthetic and the concept of Tawhid, an
expression of Islamic faith, within the context of Malay art. This study delves into the use of abstract
motifs and abstract symbolism expressed through bodily movement in the traditional Malay practice
of “ Senaman Melayu Tua” where natural motifs hold a significant role in the visual aspect. This
demonstrates that Malay art, both inherently and explicitly, consistently revolves around the concept
                of “Tawhid”.

In clear terms, this shows that abstract works of art can be created through nature's process of
abstraction, suggesting a departure from the representation of the physical world. The artist is
inherently attracted to and deliberately chooses natural forms, afterwards employing a process of
simplification that ultimately yields an image that has undergone a complete metamorphosis, devoid of
any recollection of its initial form. Since its inception, the primary objective of an artist has been to
generate a creation that is novel and unprecedented in terms of its visual or experiential qualities. The
individual in question had encountered abstract art ideology and was actively seeking to discern the
fundamental nature of all potential existences and their manifestations through artistic expression. The
incorporation of personal spirituality into the artistic process may be deemed necessary. Throughout
the progression of the job process, it will gradually become evident that there exist spiritual concerns.
The document offers guidance. The selection of a certain course of action has the potential to signify
the commencement of a novel expedition for individuals. The utilisation of the phrase "spiritual" may
not be essential; nevertheless, comparable terminology can be identified and employed to characterise
an individual's intellectual capacity, liveliness, liberation from trivial matters, and the acquisition of
dignity, which consistently manifests as a bestowed benefit upon its recipients.

                 Intertwining “Tawhid” and “Mujarad”

In the realm of Islamic theology and philosophy, two pivotal notions of utmost importance are
“Tawhid” and “Mujarad”. The concept of “Tawhid”, which refers to the belief in the unity of God, is a
fundamental aspect of Islamic monotheism. On the other hand, “Mujarad”, a term sometimes
translated as "solitariness" or "self-subsistence," relates to the inherent state of being single and self-
sufficient that characterises the Divine. The primary objective of this discussion is to delve into the
intricate interdependence between these two notions, elucidating their contribution to the deepening
of our comprehension about the essence of God and the nature of our connection with the Divine.
“Tawhid” serves as the fundamental principle of the Islamic religion, representing the conviction in the
complete unity of God. The statement posits the existence of a singular deity, Allah, while underlining
the inseparable unity of the divine. The aforementioned concept is deeply ingrained in several aspects
of Islamic thinking, exerting its influence on theology, ethics, and jurisprudence. “Tawhid” promotes a
profound sense of cohesion among the Muslim community, affirming the notion of universal equality
