among individuals in the sight of God. The concept being discussed here is the elimination of
associationism, also known as shirk, which involves attributing partners or equals to God. This
perspective emphasises the idea that God is unparalleled and transcends human understanding.
“Mujarad” serves as a complement to the concept of “Tawhid” by exploring the inherent quality of
God's self-subsistence. The notion encompasses the idea that God possesses qualities of independence,
self-sufficiency, and self-existence. This characteristic is intricately connected to the absolute perfection
of God, beyond any kind of necessity or reliance on external elements. According to “Mujarad”, it is
posited that the sustenance of God's existence does not necessitate any external factors, in contrast to
contingent entities who depend on other causes for their continued being. This characteristic
emphasises the self-contained nature of God's essence, hence emphasising His complete authority over
                all aspects of creation.

The interaction between the concepts of “Tawhid” and “Mujarad” serves to harmonise the
perceived dichotomy between the transcendence and immanence of God. While “Tawhid” places
significant emphasis on the transcendence of God, “Mujarad” serves to clarify and expound upon His
immanence, so highlighting that His presence is not dependent on the existence of the created world.
The concept of “Tawhid” recognises God as the ultimate origin of existence, but “Mujarad” emphasises
His self-sufficiency in maintaining all that exists. The aforementioned dynamic relationship serves to
shed light on the profound interconnection that exists between the Creator and His creation. The
comprehension of “Tawhid” and “Mujarad” enhances the human experience through its emphasis on
the significance of actively pursuing a personal relationship with the Divine. The practice promotes the
acknowledgement of one's dependence on a higher power and cultivates a mindset of modesty and
appreciation. The interconnection between “Tawhid” and “Mujarad” serves as a foundation for
theological discussions, facilitating the comprehension of the traits and nature of God. Theological
scholars find assistance in addressing inquiries pertaining to the essence of the divine and its
interconnectedness with the earth. The convergence of “Tawhid” and “Mujarad” signifies a significant
cognitive and metaphysical expedition inside the realm of Islamic philosophy. Collectively, these
conceptions offer a thorough theoretical structure for comprehending the essence of God, the dynamics
of our connection with Him, and the underlying objective of our being. The adoption of “Tawhid” and
“Mujarad” allows individuals to develop a more profound understanding of the Divine's unity,
singularity, and self-sufficiency. This, in turn, enhances their spiritual progression and provides guidance
for their moral and ethical behaviour.

                 Conclusion
The intricate relationship between “Tawhid” and “Mujarad” in Islamic philosophy sheds light on
the fundamental concept of God's unity and self-sufficiency, providing a comprehensive framework for
comprehending human existence and connection with the Divine. The intellectual underpinnings not
only influence theological discussions but also resonate in diverse facets of human expression,
particularly within the domain of art. Within the realm of artistic practice, the notions of “Tawhid” and
“Mujarad” function as sources of inspiration, providing guidance to artists as they endeavour to
communicate the indescribable essence of the Divine. Artists employ several techniques, including
calligraphy, geometry, and architecture, in their pursuit of representing the concepts of unity,
transcendence, and self-sufficiency attributed to the divine. The intricate geometric patterns found in
various art forms serve as reflections of the divine order that permeates creation. Similarly, calligraphy,
via its embodiment of the holiness of the written word, intricately weaves spiritual significance into its
