Thesis Title Administrative Factors Affecting Learning Organization of Schools in
the Three Southern Border Provinces

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research were to examine 1) the extent of learning
organization of schools in the three Southern border provinces 2) the extent to which the
administrative factors affecting learning organization of schools in the three Southern border
provinces 3) the relationship between administrative factors affecting learning organization
of schools in the three Southern border provinces and the learning organization of schools
in the three Southern border provinces and 4) administrative factors that predicted the
extent of learning organization of schools in three Southern border provinces. The samples
were school administrators from 275 schools. The instrument was a five point rating scale
questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation,
Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression.
The results revealed that overall, the extent of learning organization of
schools in the three Southern border provinces was found at a high level. The study also
revealed the correlation of all factors at .01 level of significance. Four prominent factors
predicting the extent of learning organization of schools included motivation, vision and
strategies, personal development and effectiveness. The four prominent factors predicted
52.50 percent.
