2) The comparison of the level of Islamic studies teachers’ problems in
teaching and learning Islamic studies in public school under DPILTPSS
based on differences in sexes, ages, degrees of education, experiences in
teaching is found not to be different in both overall and its each aspect.
3) The Islamic studies teachers' needs in the mentioned aspect are that they are
in more need to conduct training courses in curriculum design and uses.
Similarly, in learning activities, they are also in need of using modern
teaching approaches. As for the learning materials, they also in need of
progressive materials. In the field of evaluation, they need the standardized
evaluation guide as used in all levels.
