third culture, one partner's culture does not rule over the other, and the existence of a new culture  or
               third culture can eliminate one's ethnocentric tendencies.

                      JWS and French locals can be recognized as successful in conducting intercultural communication
               if they could reflect on how serious they were in adapting their symbolic interactions to each other. Having
               social competence, openness to other ways of thinking, cultural adaptation, language skills, flexibility,
               ability to deal with stress, adaptability, patience, and sensitivity are ways to overcome the barriers in
               intercultural communication (Nurahmawati, 2022; Rumondor, 2005).
