Thesis Title Administrative Process as Perceived by Islamic Private Teachers in Yala

ABSTRACT
This research aims to 1) study administration process as perceived by Islamic
private school teachers in Yala, 2) to compare administration process as perceived by Islamic
private school teachers in Yala based on their gender, educational qualification, experience and
school size, and 3) to provide suggestion for administration process development of Islamic
private schools in Yala. Questionnaires and interviews as data collection methods were used to
collect data from 337 teachers and 6 administrators of Islamic private schools in Yala. The
collected data was analyzed through descriptive statistics (such as percentage, mean, and standard
deviation), t-test and f-test.
The results of study as bellows :
1) Overall average mean of administration process of Islamic private schools in
Yala as perceived by teachers was found to be high. With regard to mean of each dimension,
mean of 4 dimensions were found to be high, namely, dimension of planning,
encouragement/support for work operation, work coordination and evaluation; and mean of 1
dimension was found to be moderate, which was resource management.
2) Regarding to administration process of Islamic private schools in Yala as
perceived by teachers based on their experience, educational qualification, gender and school
size, the results showed that teachers who hold different educational qualification and worked in
different school size have different perception towards administration process of the schools with
statistical significance at .05.
3) Regarding to suggested ways for administration process development of
Islamic private schools in Yala, the results revealed as follows 3.1) on planning, it was suggested
that school personnel should involve themselves more in school planning and the schools need to
