3. The problems that affected the management of polygamous family
divided as follows; 1) the problems caused by the insiders, which include
experiencing of stress during the period of adjustment in initially, the husband
unprepared in making understand the reality to the first wife and lastly having the
difficulties in economic issues, 2) the problems caused by the outsiders which include
the parents of wife did not accept the certain status, the mistaken understanding of
people with relation to his wife, have been treated unfairly by the society, and lastly
the impact of the mass media. The contextual conditions still affect the management
of the families, namely there should be a correct understanding concern the
management at the individual level, e.g. husband, wife, and other Muslim women
surrounding, and at social level, e.g. there should be the inculcation of right body of
knowledge to all Muslims so as to correctly and appropriately put that rules to
practice.
