Thesis Title Administrators’ Roles in Promoting Students’ Ethics in Islamic Private
School under Private Education Office, Pattani province

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the Administrators’ Roles in Promoting
Students’ Ethics in Islamic Private School under Private Education Office, Pattani province within 6
categories: the setting of policy, the modeling of ethical practice, the teaching and training, the
organizing of activities, the building and the community relations, 2) to compare the Administrators’
Roles in Promoting Students’ Ethics in Islamic Private School under Private Education Office,
Pattani province based on the following variables: the administrators’ educational qualifications, the
administrators’ experiences in school administration, sizes of the schools and 3) to study
recommendations about the roles of the school administrators in promoting ethics of the students’
ethics in Islamic private school under Private Education Office, Pattani province. The sample group
were 130 administrators and administrator assistants from Islamic Private Schools under Private
Education Office, Pattani province. The researcher used questionnaire and interview as research tools
for collecting the data. The statistics applied were the percentage, average value, and standard
deviation value,
The results of the research found that the every role of the administrators’ roles in promoting
students’ ethics in Islamic private school under Private Education Office, Pattani province played at a
high level. The comparison of the roles of the administrators’ roles in promoting students’ ethics in
Islamic private schools based on the variables set, revealed that the administrators’ roles the
administrators’ educational qualifications, the administrators’ experiences in school administration,
and sizes of the schools, it was found the administrators’ experiences in school administration, and
sizes of the schools was no significant differences in overall roles but there were differences in
activities organized follow the administrators’ educational qualifications which was at .05 level of
significance. The results of the study on recommendations indicated that The policy should define a
policy promoting virtue ethics, clear. Requires that teachers plan instruction that supplemented every
strand of moral learning. The conduct must be exemplary management practices, such as providing a
