ABSTRACT

There are three Objectives in this research: 1) To study the principles,

steps and methodology of Islamic heritage, 2) To study the understanding of Muslims in

Satun towards the heritage subject. 3) To study the practical methodology of heritage

management and problems and obstacles and effects in heritage management and to study

the solution of problems in heritage management of Muslims in Satun.

This research used both document and field research. About document

research, the researcher has been studied and collected information from Quranic verses

and Sunnah of the Prophet Mohd (SAW) and the books, relating to heritage management.

to analyse the content analysis In the part of field research, the researcher used the survey

method to the sample by asking questionnaire and collected Information and analyse as a

quantity. These information used percentage statistic. The sample of this research are

composed of the Mosque Islamic Committees, [75 of Mosque leaders (Imam) 41 of

narrators (Khatib) and 28 of callers (Muazzin). And researcher continue depth interviews

These consist of all districts in Satun province. At the same time, consist of Islamic

Committees of Satun province. Such as 1 president with 4 vice presidents. One president

of justice of Satun provincial Court and those who come to contact in term of government
service at Satun Provincial Court. This is for assigning as the heritage manager, or visitors
