Increase of Renewable Energy Share

in Power Generation Mix

EGAT plans to increase the proportion of renewable energy
in electricity generation to 20% in accordance with the Power
Development Plan B.E. 2561-2580, Revision 1 (PDP2018, Rev.1)
by integrating renewable energy innovations so it can generate
electricity consistently and with stability, leading to the development
of 16 Hydro-Floating Solar Hybrid Projects at EGAT’s existing dams with
the total capacity of 2,725 MW, which will begin commercial operation
within 5-10 years.
