                                                         ABSTRAT
                              This  research  was  aimed  at  studying  (1)  levels  of  management  of  Islamic

                       learning centers of masjids in Satun, (2) comparative levels of management based on

                       success  factors  varying  from  ages,  experiences,  secular  educations  and  Islamic

                       educations,  and  (3)  sustainable  development  approaches.  The  sample  included  42

                       golden-awarded chiefs of Islamic learning centers in Satun. Five factors covering staff,
                       budget, facilities, atmosphere and community participation were investigated through a

                       rating-scale questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed to discover percentages,

                       means, and standard deviations.

                       The findings indicate the following:
                          1.  A much level is found in all success factors both as a whole and individually.


                          2.  In comparison of success factors, no difference is significantly discovered in

                              different ages, experiences and religion educations. However, difference with

                              significance of .05 is found in different secular educations.

                          3.  For  sustainable  development  of  the  Islamic  learning  center,  it  is  suggested

                              importance  be  focused  in  development  of  all  five  aspects.  The  standard  of

                              educational  quality  of  the  Islamic  learning  center  of  Satun  includes  identity,


                              support and systematic and progressive fundamental works.
